Paula has been actively involved in public finance with Ehlers since 1995. She is the Tax Increment Financing Coordinator in the Wisconsin office and works with Wisconsin communities. She helps clients achieve their redevelopment and economic development goals through the use of tax increment financing by preparing all procedurally required legal and financial documents related to tax increment financing (TIF) districts, including incorporating legislative changes, drafting TIF plans, official notices and correspondence, resolutions, and timeline schedules. In addition she gathers the state required documents, including the parcel & mapping data necessary to complete the state forms, and reviews for statutory compliance in order to obtain state certification and ensure statutory deadlines are met.
