Prior to joining Ehlers & Associates in 1998 as a Financial Analyst, Mr.Shannon worked as an account representative with a major banking firm in Corporate Trust while utilizing his wide range of experience and playing a significant role in Public Finance. His extensive background with various computer programs and spreadsheets allows him to develop tailored computer models to meet the specific financial needs of municipal clients. He has experience working with Cities, Villages, Counties, Towns, School Districts and universities. His special expertise is in analyzing, structuring, documenting, and underwriting municipal securities, analyzing and structuring cash defeasances, advance refundings, multi-issue debt programs, and computer analysis utilizing Munex and Excel.

Certification: Certified Independent Public Finance Advisor by the National Association of Independent Public Finance Advisors

Education: Bachelor of Science in both Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse
