Ms. Broen works as a TIF Coordinator in the Minnesota office specifically with Minnesota cities and counties. She helps clients achieve their redevelopment, housing and economic development goals through the use of tax increment financing. Ms. Broen prepares TIF documents, resolutions, and official notices to establish and modify districts, and ensures clients meet statutory deadlines and procedural requirements. In addition to the work provided for TIF districts, Ms. Broen aids in the planning and coordination of the annual Public Finance Seminar hosted by Ehlers and assists Financial Advisors with completion of special projects.

Ms. Broen has been with Ehlers & Associates since March of 2007. Before joining Ehlers, she worked as an intern for the City of Anoka Community Development Department. While interning for the City, she coordinated the creation of a TIF District in the City's downtown and researched statistical data necessary for the Economic Development Commission to make future decisions about the growth of the City.

Education: Bachelor of Science from St. Cloud State University with a major in Real Estate and a minor in Community Development.
