The sale of the final industrial park lots presented an opportunity for the EDA to reassess how and where to guide future development, leveraging the city’s assets, available land, and metropolitan access. Through a strategic planning effort, the EDA aimed to align future growth and investment with community values, long-term economic resilience, and quality-of-life goals.
The Solution
Ehlers supported the EDA by facilitating a focused strategic planning process that identified key opportunities and challenges and translated them into a clear, actionable plan with defined goals, strategies, action items, timelines, and success measures to evaluate progress.
