Northern Integrated Supply Project

CASE STUDY: Left Hand Water District, Colorado

The Goal

Left Hand Water District is part of a $1.2 billion multi-jurisdictional project – Northern Integrated Supply Project – that will take approximately a decade to complete and require much collaboration with other local government entities.

The Solution

District officials engaged Ehlers to provide multi-year financial management planning and debt issuance services. Our municipal advisors collaborated with the District and its project staff to plan the impact of the multi-year project in the rate-setting process to ensure the project is a) affordable to ratepayers and b) financially feasible for the District.

The Results

While this project is ongoing, Left Hand Water District is positioning itself to be a leader in the financing of the Northern Integrated Supply Project.
