About the Referendum

The district will be holding a special election on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 seeking voter approval of two ballot questions:

Question 1 would authorize the district to issue up to $3,935,000 for the construction of an ECFE playground; the construction of an event parking lot with related lighting and drainage; the completion of the track/football field area and the baseball/softball field area and facilities, including a storage facility with restroom, locker room, and concession stand space; the acquisition and installation of security cameras and a portable stage that meets ADA requirements; and the development of school forest trails that will be used for classroom and athletic purposes.

Question 2 is contingent on question 1 and would authorize the district to issue up to $2,700,000 for the construction of an activities parking lot; an additional softball field and an additional storage facility with restroom and concession stand space; and the acquisition and installation of stadium lighting at the football and baseball/softball field areas.

For additional information on how the funds would be used, click on the "Return to School District Website" button above.
