Kevin Lahner

Kevin Lahner is a Senior Financial Specialist based in our Wisconsin office. He brings a distinguished career spanning public administration, municipal leadership, and financial consulting. Throughout his time working with local governments and public-sector organizations, he helped communities navigate complex financial, operational, and strategic challenges. Prior to joining Ehlers, Kevin served in senior municipal leadership roles, including City Administrator and City Manager positions in communities in both Wisconsin and Texas. Throughout his career, he has developed his knowledge in municipal operations, budgeting, capital planning, stakeholder engagement, and organizational leadership. His background enables him to provide clients with practical, results-oriented guidance grounded in real-world local government experience.

Outside of his professional work, he enjoys endurance racing, mountain biking, fly-fishing, and wilderness camping, and values spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their four children.
