Tess is a Public Finance Analyst supporting municipal bond issuances for school districts, cities and counties. Known for her precision and process-driven approach, she plays an integral role in delivering accurate, efficient, and well-coordinated financings, with a focus on transaction documentation. Prior to joining Ehlers in 2023, Tess built over 12 years of experience in financial services, with a strong foundation in commercial banking credit analysis and retail mortgage underwriting. Her background informs a disciplined, analytical approach and a strong understanding of risk, structure and detail across financial systems and platforms.

Originally from a northwest suburb of Chicago, Tess moved to Minnesota to attend the University of St. Thomas and has made it home ever since. Outside of work, she is actively involved in her two sons’ lives including PTO and youth hockey. In her free time, Tess enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with her boys and their boxer dog.
