Greg is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ehlers Companies. Prior to being named to lead our organization, Greg served as Senior Municipal Advisor and Managing Director for the firm’s School Finance Team. Before that, he worked for 19 years as a Fiscal Analyst at the Minnesota House of Representatives, serving as co-controller of House operations during two of those years. During that tenure, Greg specialized in education finance, including working on the original statutory language for much of the education finance system in Minnesota today. He is well known and highly regarded as an exceptional team leader who helps our advisory professionals deliver outstanding client value and service.

Greg lives in Chisago City with his wife Amy and has three adult daughters. When he’s not working, Greg enjoys photography, riding his motorcycle, spending time in Northern Minnesota at the family cabin and many other outdoor activities.
