James is a Public Finance Analyst who helps Ehlers’ clients obtain the best cost structure for debt issuance. He coordinates all aspects of the actual bond sale including responding to underwriters questions concerning bond sale specifications, receiving competitive bids on sale day, coordinating the closing with underwriters, completing documentation required for closing and arranging for transfer of proceeds at closing. In addition, he coordinates the completion and distribution of documents relating to early redemptions, defeasances and current and advance refundings, and maintains a historical database of bond sales. In addition, James assists with operational and analytical support for Ehlers’ Investment Team including fixed income trading, cash flow and account balance forecasting, market research and analysis and direct client support. Previously, he was a Mortgage Document Processor with Wells Fargo.
James lives in Minneapolis with his partner and two cats. He savors time with friends and family and loves to attend concerts and sporting events.
