Schane Rudlang is a Municipal Advisor at Ehlers, where he helps communities navigate complex economic development, redevelopment, housing, and capital project needs. His extensive experience includes financial planning and leadership, debt issuance, and bonding, enabling local governments to structure projects that promote growth and long-term fiscal resilience. Previously, Schane served as Port Authority Administrator for the City of Bloomington, Minnesota, overseeing public private partnerships totaling more than $1.3 billion. His leadership supported multiple Mall of America expansions, housing and hotel developments, business retention initiatives, and efforts to bring a World’s Fair back to the United States in Minnesota. He also directed Bloomington’s legislative policy initiatives, collaborating with lobbyists and providing testimony at legislative hearings. Earlier in his career, Schane worked as a licensed civil engineer managing infrastructure projects, a technical foundation that continues to inform his approach to finance and development. Schane is a qualified and trusted advisor to communities pursuing strategic and responsible growth.
Schane lives in Bloomington with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys spending time at the cabin, remodeling projects, and playing tennis (and, begrudgingly, a little pickleball).
