Kyle is Ehlers’ Director of Fiscal Consulting where he leads our team of Fiscal Consultants in developing long-term financial management plans, TIF management plans and utility rate studies. He is well known and highly regarded for his ability to communicate the policy implications of project financing and rate setting, helping the clients he serves make sound and objective decisions. Kyle brings more than a decade of direct local government experience to his role with the firm.
From 2011 to 2021, he served as an Accountant and Assistant Finance Director for the City of Edina where he was integral in developing Capital Improvement Plans, constructing the biennial budget and conducting annual audits. He also assisted with debt planning and issuance, investments oversight and cash flow management. Before that, Kyle worked as an auditor for cities and school districts across Minnesota.
Kyle is a native of the Madison, Wisconsin area and now lives in Bloomington, Minnesota with his wife and three children. He enjoys sports of all kinds and doing anything outdoors. Kyle and his family are avid campers who love to take in the solitude of the wilderness.
