Budget Forecasting & Evaluating Voter Approved Revenue Options

Districts in Minnesota have two options to increase annual revenues through voter approval: operating referendums and capital project levies. But how much should you ask for and how do you go about evaluating these additional revenue options? While each brings additional revenue to districts on an annual basis, there are key differences that could make one more suitable to your district. Administrators will join Ehlers to evaluate operating needs using the budget projection model and delineate differences in the voter approved revenue sources.
