Ehlers’ 2022 Minnesota Public Finance Seminar

We are so proud to share in your mission to build vibrant, sustainable and equitable communities across Minnesota. Yet fulfilling that mission isn’t just about public finance solutions – these are only the fundamentals of our work. It’s about people pulling together to create smart plans, build community consensus and share in the hard work that helps bring generational projects to life. This year, we’ve narrowed our curriculum to two learning tracks – Tax Increment Financing and Development & Financing – and placed a considerable focus on real-life stories and case studies. Plus, Gary Carlson will join us again to provide the latest updates from the Minnesota State Legislature, and former Brooklyn Center City Manager Curt Boganey will deliver a compelling keynote address on leadership during crisis.

COVID SAFETY UPDATE:

To protect the health and well-being of all seminar participants, Ehlers will require guests, speakers, and our own event staff to present proof of a negative COVID rapid test result received within 72 hours of the start of the seminar. In addition, per the City of Brooklyn Center’s current COVID mask mandate, everyone will be required to wear masks at The Earle Brown Center while indoors and not eating or drinking. We understand one of the primary reasons we so enjoy gathering in-person for this event is the camaraderie and personal connections we share with our industry colleagues during meals and the cocktail reception when many of us won’t be wearing masks. And it’s for this very reason that we’ve elected to add the negative COVID test requirement.
Upon entering The Earle Brown Center, you will find signage directing you to Ehlers’ staff members who will check your negative test result (e-mail, text, picture of at-home test result, etc.) and provide you with a mask to wear during our larger assembly and break-out sessions. Once that’s complete, our staff will finish your registration check-in.
Important note: Please do not email or send your negative COVID test results to any Ehlers’ representative prior to the day of the event. To protect your privacy, results will neither be recorded nor retained.
We recognize this may create inconvenience for some and appreciate your cooperation and patience as we continue to navigate this evolving landscape together. If you do not wish to provide evidence of a negative test, please contact Roxann Martin to cancel your registration and request a full refund.
As always, we encourage Seminar registrants to consider all MN Department of Health COVID Guidelines when making the decision to attend this event. Your safety is our number one priority.
